Professor Ming-ko Woo (Hok for his friends) has announced his definitive retirement from scientific activities. The Commission loses again one of its most valuable members, who served also in the Steering Committee for several years since the beginning of the activities.

Hok and his wife Caroline, who attended together all conferences of the Commission and of the preceding Study Groups, have decided to spend these years of their life by making (and enjoying) several travels for visiting the world.

The Chair and all Steering Committee are unanimous in thanking Hok for his work, his enthusiasm, his optimism, his humour and his attempt to talk always with every participant, and greet him to enjoy these years of new life together with his wife.
