The Commission has secured a NATO Advanced Research Workshop contract. The workshop title is: “Natural disasters and Water Security: risk Assessment, Emergency Response and Environmental Management”. It will be held in Yerevan, Armenia, October 18-22, 2007.

Professor Trahel Vardanian is co-director for the NATO Partner country. Prof. Tony Jones is the NATO country co-director.

A number of the expert speakers are Full Members of the Commission for Water Sustainability.
